A brief look at the list of winners, which includes stars such as Anna Veith, Marcel Hirscher, Thomas Morgenstern, Gregor Schlierenzauer and Lukas Weisshaidinger, shows how important the Sporthilfe Youth Sports Prize is and what outstanding careers have emerged after this award.
“The Sporthilfe Youth Sports Prize has become an established authority in local sport. We are delighted to be able to present this award for the 20th time this year and to welcome a new presenting partner in Hämo Pharma for the anniversary,” says Sporthilfe managing director Gernot Uhlir: “Österreichische Sporthilfe and its partners see themselves as a lively community of values, as a large sports family that support our sports talents on their way to success. That is what our mission statement says. Accordingly, we place great emphasis on accompanying young athletes on their way to becoming world leaders.
This depends on strong partnerships. “With this commitment, Haemo Pharma is exemplary in its social responsibility. From our daily work, we know how important such funding is, especially at the start of careers. That is sporting sustainability in practice. ”
Markus Mateyka, General Manager at Haemo Pharma: “It is an honor for Haemo Pharma to award the Youth Sports Prize to young athletes who stand out for their passion and exceptional commitment. This prize not only symbolizes sporting achievements, but also conveys important values such as discipline, determination and the quest for excellence. We look forward to following the development of the award winners and accompanying them on their journey with our support. ”
