HyaloFast®

HyaloFast® is a cartilage regeneration membrane based on a 3D matrix of modified hyaluronic acid fibers (HYAFF). It is the one-step solution for chondral and osteochondral lesions combined with mesenchymal stem cells (MSC). This matrix supports the formation of hyaline-like cartilage, which is structurally and functionally similar to natural cartilage.

Only one operation is needed to regenerate cartilage

Enables one-step repair of cartilage damage in a single surgical procedure

Safe tissue regeneration through bioresorbable 3D matrix

It is broken down naturally in the body, resulting in safe regeneration.

Effective cartilage repair through hyaline-like regeneration

Supports the regeneration of hyaline-like cartilage and improves clinical outcomes.

All the benefits of HyaloFast®

Only one operation required

No need for a 2nd operation

Regenerative environment through HYAFF fibers

When HyAFF fibers break down, hyaluronic acid is released, which creates an HS-rich microenvironment.

Versatile

Hyalofast® can easily be used as part of an arthroscopy or mini arthrotomy.

Good adaptation to the lesion

Because of its soft texture, Hyalofast® adapts easily to any lesion shape.

Hyaluronic acid through fermentation

100% pure hyaluronic acid from bacteria, not an animal product

Self-adhesive

Self-adhesive, no secondary fixation required, can be applied with both sides facing up

Biologically active

Encourages stem cell growth and differentiation

Excellent MRI results

Excellent clinical MRI results in the treatment of osteochondral ankle and knee defects..

Indication of HyaloFast®: chondral
and osteochondral lesions

HyaloFast®, a 3D matrix of pure hyaluronic acid, is suitable for the treatment of chondral and osteochondral lesions (ICRS grade III-IV). This innovative matrix supports the colonization and differentiation of stem and cartilage cells, which stimulates natural regeneration and quickly promotes high-quality hyaline-like cartilage.

Microfracturing (nanoFX®)

  • Suitable for smaller defects up to 2 cm²
  • Mobilizes stem cells from bone marrow to promote cartilage regeneration

HyaloFast®

  • Suitable for defect sizes of 1 to 4.5 cm²
  • Serves as a framework for stem cells and supports healing

Autologous Chondrocyte Transplantation (Spherox)

  • Suitable for defect sizes from 2 cm² to 10 cm²
  • Involves the removal and cultivation of the patient's own cartilage cells, which are then transplanted
