Targeted use for tendopathies
ORTHOVISC® -T is specifically designed for the treatment of tendopathies. It is injected directly onto the affected tendon. This distinguishes it from general hyaluronic acid products, which were developed for the treatment of joint ailments.

ORTHOVISC® -T injection technology
To help you use ORTHOVISC® -T optimally, we have developed a simple, 9-step guide. Follow these steps to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Patient position
The patient is sitting with a bent elbow.
Tag
Mark the injection site at the point of maximum pain.
Disinfection
Perform disinfection in accordance with guidelines.
Injection
Insert the needle around the diseased tendon or into the tendon sheath; avoid injecting directly into the tendon.
Positioning
Position the needle at a 45° angle and inject half of the contents of the syringe.
angle adjustment
Do not pull the needle out of the skin, just change the angle.
Subject technology
Rotate the syringe 180°, insert it and slowly withdraw it while you inject the remaining ORTHOVISC® -T. This creates a fan-shaped injection area.
Needle removal
Pull out the needle completely.
Movement exercises
Bend and stretch the wrist slowly five times, then slowly turn it inward and outward five times to ensure an even distribution of the contents across the tendon.
